The UMiDigi A3X is the elder sibling to the UMiDigi A3S (check the A3S vs Pouvior 3 Air) and its predecessor is the UMiDigi A3 Pro. The smartphone offers minor improvements over the A#S.

Design and Display
The UMiDigi A3X tried to retain the design of the A3 Pro with a few tweaks. The smartphone retains the iPhone X clone look with a wide notch. The phone measures 5.7 inch.
The old notch design may put off some persons as there are now smaller notch sizes to choose from given that the smartphone doesn’t even have a selfie LED flash on the notch. The top-notch houses the selfie camera, the earpiece speaker and other sensors
Over to the sides, there are the power and volume buttons. The base of the phone houses the bottom speaker, old USB 2.0(fair enough for a budget device), mic and a 3.5mm jack.
The back of the phone houses a dual rear camera set up, a dual-LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. The UMiDigi brand logo is located bottom left.
Over to the display, there is a 5.7 inch HD+ panel with a 1520 x 720 pixel resolution. This aspect ratio stands at 19:9. The phone has a system-wide dark mode thanks to its stock Android 10 OS.
The phone has its front and rear side protected by 2.5D glass, and fine metallic frame finishing, giving it a premium look. The Color options available are midnight green and space grey.
Camera Specifications
The UMiDigi A3X has a better camera upgrade over the A3 Pro. The A3X has a 13MP selfie camera, bumped up from the 8MP lens used on the A3 Pro. The Camera is touted to have AI capabilities but it all looks like a few fancy stickers and marketing gimmicks. It records 720p videos in 30 frames per second (fps).
The rear camera consists of a 16MP main shooter with a 6-element lens + 5MP depth sensor unlike the 12 MP + 5 MP lens on the A3 Pro. It records 1080p videos in 30 fps.
Hardware specifications
Umidigi retained the Mediatek MT6761 Quadcore processor used in the Umidigi A3S, made with 12nm fabrication processor, and clocks up to 2.0GHz. For graphics there is the Imagination PowerVR GE8300 chip
In terms of memory capabilities, there is 3GB worth of RAM space and 32GB worth of inbuilt storage. This should be enough for handling multitasking of a few heavy apps but one thing is certain, this phone is not built for heavy gaming.
Connectivity, Software, and Battery
The Helio A22 processor allows 4G connectivity so the A3X has dual VoLTE support on its dual sim and also support for 5G WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Bluetooth HID.
The A3X runs on stock Android 10 and some good software improvements. It has no bloatware and unneeded features.
The battery is a drawback though as there is a 3,300mAh battery which many may not fancy.
