Both devices have a 6.2-inch notched display with a display resolution of 1500 x 720 pixels.
The cameras sit on the notch, and it is worth noting that both devices are 4G enabled. The body size and dimensions are similar, as is the durable plastic.

If AI is the watchword, then Infinix and Tecno must have used it a lot. The Infinix Hot 7 Pro has a rear 13MP primary shooter assisted by a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera modules are also 13MP, assisted by a 2MP depth sensor.
The Tecno Pouvoir 3, on the other hand, has a single rear camera module that houses a 13 MP module.
The selfie camera module is also 13MP. Both devices have LED flashlights to assist photography.
The comparison here is quite close, but if the 2 MP depth sensor on the Infinix Hot 7 Pro counts for anything, then the Infinix has the day here.

The processor happens to be the brainbox of any computer. For smartphones, the processor determines camera specifications, memory space, network, etc.
The Infinix Hot 7 Pro uses the MediaTek MT6757T Helio P25 chipset. The chipset has 8 cores for smooth operations and a top speed of 2.4GHz. Four of the eight cores are 2.4GHz, and the other four cores are clocked at 1.6GHz. MaliMT880MP2 powers the GPU.
Tecno Pouvoir 3, on the other hand, uses a MediaTek MT6739 processor. The chipset has 4 cores clocked at 1.28GHz and a PowerVR GE8100 GPU. The speed is quite poor for a 4G device, given that other devices within this range usually have 1.5GHz processors.

Infinix Hot 7 Pro vs Tecno Pouvoir 3: Memory, Storage and OS
Both devices have 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space. There is support for Memory cards up to 128GB. The Infinix Hot 7 Pro has a 3GB of RAM space variant.
The software on the Tecno Pouvoir 3 is Android 8.1 Oreo, while the Infinix Hot 7 Pro runs on Android 9.0 Pie. For now, Transsion has no news on OS updates for both devices.

Battery life is a very important smartphone feature in Nigeria. In fact, it is the only specification most people need.
Tecno Pouvoir is a power series; hence, it is not surprising to see a 5000mAh battery onboard the Tecno Pouvoir 3. The battery life is also known to be legit.
The Infinix Hot 7 Pro comes with a 4000mAh battery, enough to last two days. None of the devices has fast charging. The Android 9 OS optimizes battery more than Android 8.1, but the 4000mAh doesn’t come close to the 5000mAh.

Overall
The devices’ display and design are similar. Storage and RAM space are also of the same specifications, but the Infinix Hot 7 Pro comes out top in Processor performance. The octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz is over four times faster than the 1.28 quad-core processor.
The 2MP depth sensor on the camera also gives the Infinix Hot 7 Pro an edge over the Tecno Pouvoir 3. The Tecno Pouvoir 3 beats the Infinix Hot 7 Pro in the battery department.
If you are a heavy user who loves to load many apps and multi-task, then the Infinix Hot 7 Pro is what you need. The octa-core processor will make your life easy.
If you value battery life over performance then the Tecno Pouvoir 3 is better. For me though, I will take the Infinix Hot & pro anytime, any day.
