Infinix Mobility is a well-known brand in Nigeria and a household name, along with Tecno and Itel Mobile. They mainly produce devices targeting young users.
Over the years, Infinix has released many phones with different specifications.
With half the year gone, we expect them to announce more phones, but for now, here is the list of the best Infinix phones you can purchase in 2021.
If you want the best infinix camera phones, check out this post.
1. Infinix Note 7
The Infinix Note 7 is the successor of the Infinix Note 6. The phablet device has an Infinity O punch-hole camera design. The Infinix Note 7 is no small device, as it packs a towering 6.95-inch display.
The display resolution stands at normal 720 x 1640 pixels, a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and a 91% screen-to-body ratio
On the phone’s rear side, you will find a round camera module design inspired by the Nokia, Motorola, and Huawei P30 series. The module houses four cameras (quad cameras) in a square arrangement and an extra flashlight.
The Infinix Note 7 packs the same 16MP selfie camera found on the Infinix Note 6, though one would hope the Note will perform better due to software upgrades and better AI algorithms it has over its predecessor.
The main rear camera lens in the quad-camera setup is a 48MP shooter. The other lenses consist of a 25mm 2MP macro lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and an unspecified low-light video camera.
The Infinix Note 7 uses the Game-Focused Helio G70, an octa-core chip with dual Cortex A75 chips clocked at 2.0GHz and hexa Cortex A55 chips clocked at 1.7GHz.
The G70 chip, released in 2020, is power efficient. The GPU integrated into the processor is the ARM Mali-G52 MC2, which can reach 820MHz.
The phone uses LDDPR4X RAM with 6GB space and is clocked at 1.8GHz, making it very fast. Also, there is 128GB of Storage space available on the device.
The smartphone is released with Android 10 Q running under Infinix’s XOS 6.0 skin. The skin is heavily customized, so it comes with some third-party apps.
There is a 5000mAh battery on board for power juice, and it comes with an 18W charge.
Why You Should Buy The Infinix Hot 7: The 6.95-inch display panel and camera combination are awesome. I am most impressed with the RAM size (6GB) and the storage option.
The Helio G70 gaming chip makes the device very good, and the 5000 mAh battery is still included.
Cons: The 720-pixel resolution simply means the pixels are being stretched and definitely not the sharpest. USB C would have suited this device better. Also, what happened to our Stylus pen? There is also a possibility that you will be stuck with XOS 6 and no future OS upgrades.

2. Infinix Note 7 Lite
The Infinix Note 7 Lite has a punch-hole camera on the top left that houses the selfie camera. The top frame holds the speaker. The phone has a 6.6-inch panel and a thin bottom chin for structural integrity.
The display is a 6.6 IPS LCD without any special display settings. The Infinix Note 7 Lite has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, almost similar to that found on the Infinix Note 7. The aspect ratio is 20:9, and the screen-to-body ratio is around 85%.
The phone’s back features a quad camera setup with a quad-LED flash. Towards the bottom are the Infinix and Note brand logos. The left side holds the SIM tray, while the right side holds the volume controller and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The selfie camera packs an 8MP lens for capturing images and videos. The Infinix Note 7 Lite has a 48MP main rear camera. Other squad members of the rear camera module are a 2MP macro camera that captures details up to 25MM, a 2MP depth sensor, and an extra night light sensor for video mode.
The Infinix Note 7 Lite has the Helio P22 processor. The Processor has Octa-core Cortex A55 chips clocked to reach a maximum speed of 2.0GHz. There is 4GB of RAM space and 128GB of onboard storage.
The device runs the Android 10 OS under the XOS 6 skin, which comes with many customizations and third-party apps.
The Infinix Note 7 lite uses a 5000mAh inbuilt battery that should last up to three days.
Why You Should Buy The Infinix Note 7 Lite: It has the same rear camera specifications as the Tecno Camon 15 Camon 15 Pro and the Note 7. The stylish design of the side fingerprint is also nice for a change, and 4GB RAM and 128GB storage are actually a nice deal. You also get a 5000mAh battery.
Cons: XOS has many adverts. Considering that it is a Lite Version, there are no outstanding cons.
3. Infinix Hot 9 Pro
The Infinix Hot 9 Pro is one of the latest Infinix devices. It has an Infinity O display and seems to have been copied from the Tecno Spark 5 Pro in design.
The phone’s back side is home to the rear cameras with an extra module as an upgrade over the Infinix Hot 8. The display features a 6.6-inch display panel. The panel type is TFT HD+, occupying up to 90% of the phone’s size in the screen-to-body ratio measurements (other sources peg it around 83%)
Once again, like Tecno, Infinix stuck with the 720p display resolution. The full display resolution is 720 x 1600 pixels with 266 pixels per inch.
The rear camera has a quad camera setup and features a 48MP main shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a QVGA camera. The selfie camera has 8MP.
The Infinix Hot 9 Pro also uses the Helio P22 Octacore chip. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space, which is sufficient for multitasking. The storage should also be good.
The Infinix Hot 9 Pro runs on Android 10 under the XOS 6 skin. This comes with dark mode and some third-party apps and features.
The Infinix Hot 9 Pro is a 4G device with WiFI and Bluetooth 5.0 enabled. It also has a 5000mAh battery.
Why You Should Buy The Infinix Hot 9 Pro: It looks like the smaller memory variant for the Infinix Note 7 Lite since they are almost similar. You will probably enjoy all the benefits of the Note 7 Lite for the memory trade-off.
Cons: Other than the processor specifications, there is nothing to say at all.
Overall Specifications
Below are the overall specifications of the Infinix Hot 9 Pro.

4. Infinix Hot 9
The Infinix Hot 9 follows the punch-hole display panel design of the other Infinix devices. It packs a 6.6-inch display panel with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
On the back, the Hot 9 has a quad camera setup, one lens more than the Hot 8. The lenses are beautifully arranged vertically on the top left side, and the triple LED is arranged by its side.
The selfie camera on this device is 8MP. Depending on the variant you get, the rear camera has two different lenses.
The camera setup for the 32GB models is the 13 MP main lens, 2 MP depth, 2 MP macro, and QVGA low-light sensors. The bigger memory variants have a 16 MP main lens, 2 MP depth, 2 MP macro, and QVGA low-light sensors. The triple LED flash is present in both variants.
The Hot 9 comes with the Helio A25 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.8GHz (41.8 GHz Cortex-A53 & 41.5 GHz Cortex-A53). When it comes to storage, there are four variants of this device you can pick from;
- 2GB of RAM space and 32GB of storage space
- 3GB of RAM space and 32GB of storage space
- 4GB of RAM space and 64GB of storage space
- 4GB of RAM space and 128GB of storage space
The Infinix Hot 9 runs on Android 10 under the XOS 6 skin. This comes with dark mode and some third-party apps and features.
The Infinix Hot 9 is a 4G device with WiFI and Bluetooth 5.0 enabled. It also has a 5000mAh battery.
Why You Should Buy The Infinix Hot 9: Save for the camera specifications, you are getting a device that is a little bit close to the Hot 9 Pro device. The battery is also an added advantage.
Con: The memory options vs. camera specifications pairing is a little bit weird. 1.8GHz isn’t much, so it isn’t good for gaming.

5. Infinix Hot 9 Play
Regarding phone design, Infinix has always experimented with different textures and colors. The texture of the Hot 9 Play is just right. The glossiness is not overdone, and the rear has a gem-cut texture like the other Hot 9 devices.
Unlike the other two Hot 9 devices, the Hot 9 Play has a water-drop Infinity V display design.
Infinix chose to use a 6.82 IPS TFT HD+ display panel for the Hot 9 Play, which is almost similar to the 7-inch Spark 5 Air. The display offers a 1640 x 720 pixels resolution and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio.
The rear side of this device houses a circular rectangle cut out for the rear camera. There are two lens cutouts, a triple LED, and an AI 13 MEGAPIXEL inscription.
The selfie camera of the infinix Hot 9 Play is 8MP. The rear camera features a 13MP main shooter and a QVGA lens (dubbed AI). Triple LED flash assists it in capturing superb night shots.
The Inifnix Hot 9 Play uses the MediaTek Helio A25 processor. The Helio A25 has eight cores and a maximum speed of 1.8GHz. Four Cortex A53 cores are clocked to this speed, while the other Cortex A53 chips are clocked at 1.5GHz.
The Infinix Hot 9 Play has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space. Infinix outdid itself with the Infinix Hot 9 Play battery, which has a large 6000 mAh battery. This is Infinix’s largest battery to date. The Infinix Hot 9 Play runs Android 10 Q Go under the XOS 6 skin.
Why You Should Buy The Infinix Hot 9 Play: It is bigger than the 2GB/32GB version of the Infinix Hot 9. You get a massive 6000mAh battery, and the selfie camera quality is great. It runs a bit faster since it uses Android Go. This is your best bet if you are looking for a long-lasting budget device.
Cons: The Android Go experience is pretty limiting.

6. Infinix S5 Pro
Featuring a 6.53-inch IPS LD display, the Infinix S5 Pro has very slim bezels except for the bottom chin, which is common for structural integrity. The device also offers a 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The device has a pop-up camera moved to the top, thus making enough room for the screen. At the back is the camera module that houses the triple-lens setup
The rear camera is housed in a hump that contains a QVGA low light sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 48MP rear shooter, all assisted by a dual LED flash. The selfie camera houses a 16MP shooter.
The Infinix S5 Pro is Infinix’s most powerful smartphone to date, featuring the Helio P35 chipset. The Helio P35 features cortex A53 octa-core chips that clock up to 2.35GHz (42.3GHz +41.8GHz).
The S5 Pro comes with either 4GB of RAM space with 64GB of storage or 6GB of RAM space with 128GB of storage space.
The devices run Android 10 OS under the Infinix XOS 6.0 skin. The Infinix S5 Pro has a 4000mAh battery.
Why You Should Buy The Infinix S5 Pro: The Helio P35 Chip is powerful, making the S5 Pro a very good device. The RAM and storage options are also great. You get a clearer pixel resolution.
Cons: There may be some issues because it is Infinix’s first pop-up device.

The Infinix Smart 3 Plus smartphone is one of Infinix Mobility’s best-designed smartphones. It has a 6.2-inch display with a waterdrop notch.
The 4G device has a vertical triple camera setup at the back, and its body is made of polycarbonate. The front camera is 8 MP AI-assisted, and the rear triple camera consists of a 13MP module for the main shot, 2 MP for night mode, and QVGA for depth detection.
A dual-LED flash assists the rear camera. All Infinix devices now have multiple AR stickers and features in their cameras.
Under the hood, there is a 2.0 quad-core Mediatek Helio A22 processor. The phone has two variants, but I recommend the 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM storage space version.
The Infinix Smart 3 runs on Android 9 under the XOS 5 Cheetah skin. You also get a 3500mAh battery with a power efficiency manager.

Infinix Hot 8 Lite is Infinix’s answer to calls for a bigger battery smartphone and also a bigger display. The 5000 mAh device stands tall with a 6.6-inch display and a waterdrop notch camera.
The wider screen gives a 20:9 aspect ratio, making it the go-to phone for movie lovers. The selfie camera sports an 8MP lens, as does the dual rear camera with an 8MP lens main module and QVGA for depth detection.
In terms of internal parts, Infinix took a step backward with the 3G Mediatek MTK6580 processor. The quad-core chip is clocked at 1.3 GHz. On the bright side is 2GB of RAM space and 32 GB of ROM storage.

The front camera retains the 8 MP lens, while the rear camera was upgraded to a 13MP main shooter, a 2 MP lens for night mode, and QVGA for depth.
The device comes in 2 Variants: the 2 GB RAM space, 32 GB Storage space variant, and the 4 GB RAM space, 64 GB storage space variant. Only the 2GB version is available in Nigeria.
That version has a 2.0GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 (12 nm) processor. If you get the 4GB variant, you will get a 1.8GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 (12 nm) processor.
