If you’ve watched Hallmark movies, you will know that 2015 Hallmark movies follow the same formula that has made Hallmark so popular. They never seem to run out of romantic stories, and here is another one.

Two people from different backgrounds inherit the same house in an undeveloped area. An inspiring chef, Jenny plans to start a bed and breakfast in the house.

On the other end, Brian has a different idea for the property and intends to sell it.

Jenny refuses to give up and offers to buy Brian out when her business profits. Unfortunately, Brian gets fired from his job and, with no place to go, ends up in the same house with Jenny.

Jenny and Brian divide the house and agree to cohabitate. You cannot help but admire their on-screen chemistry. This film brings a charming and happy vibe to the viewers.

However, as a piece of friendly advice, please don’t watch it expecting too much.

Just the Way You Are

Careful of what you wish for. Can you trust your heart not to fall in love? The Way You Are will not strike you much differently from other 2015 hallmark movies. It is another film adaptation of a bestselling book.

Drake bets his friend that he can make a nerdy transfer student, Sophie, fall in love with him in a month. An unsuspecting Sophia finally falls for him, leaving him with the dilemma of telling her it was just a bet.

Wait a minute. If Drake felt nothing, this wouldn’t be a problem for him. Wow, I guess the heart can’t stay far away when love is in the air. This film radiates so much charm to keep the love-struck audience on it.

The film sticks to a relatable and likable theme and keeps viewers entertained despite the predictable plot and twists. Ultimately, it is an excellent movie to watch if you are a genre fan.

Portrait of Love

  • Director: K. T. Donaldson
  • Star cast: Bree Wiliamson, and Jason Dohring
  • IMDB Rating: 6.2

A relatively successful fashion photographer, April finds her life of taking photos of models unrewarding.

Despite her lackluster performance, she always gets jobs. Her old friend, Julia, persuades her to return for her hometown’s centenary celebration.

Well, April hasn’t visited the town since her breakup with Luke. After much thought, she decides to head back to her hometown. There is no way old memories will not spring up. Old love memories never die, they say.

April soon finds herself between her new boring life and the life she left behind after her breakup. Portrait of Love trades on familiar territory and does not stray from the relatable storyline.

Nevertheless, it was released as one of the 2015 hallmark movies. It is not entirely predictable, but most of the plot is well-known. Strap in if you love old love stories. Imagine getting stuck with your ex after a decade.

A Country Wedding

  • Director: Anne Wheeler
  • Star cast: Autumn Reeser and Jesse Metcalfe
  • IMDB Rating: 7

How much do people know their partners before they walk down the aisle? A man could believe he has found love only for someone else to come and open him up in a way he hasn’t been before.

Country singer Bradley faced this after returning to his hometown shortly before his wedding. He intended to sell his childhood house, but he reconnects with Sarah, his childhood sweetheart and neighbor.

Sarah helps Bradley find a side of him he never thought he had. This makes Bradley reconsider his love choices and wonder how much he knows his intended bride. 2015 hallmark movies have always been about love, and this film is no different.

Family for Christmas

  • Director: Amanda Tapping
  • Star cast: Tyron Leitso, and Lacey Chabert

Finally, one of the 2015 hallmark movies doesn’t exalt romance. Instead, this film focuses on the choices we have to make in life. Lacey Chabert portrays the single television newswoman Hanna excellently.

A Christmas miracle allows Hanna to relive the life she would have had if she had made other choices. Maybe it is a dream. Nevertheless, she is presented with the opportunity to compare two different lives, and it was an experience that changed her.

Hallmark did an excellent job dealing with the shock of living an alternate life for Hanna. The concern and distress are natural and captured well. Imagine living a different life all of a sudden. I would get disturbed.

Choices have consequences, and Hanna understands that well in the movie. Now, you see, you have the option to watch this film.

Love on the Air

  • Director: K. T. Donaldson

Unfortunately, Sonia gets dumped by her boyfriend on air, which is embarrassing and humiliating. Her boyfriend Scott dumped her after listening to a caveman episode hosted by Nick, and this setup is a recipe for entertainment.

Sonia and Nick fall in love but are unaware until the movie’s end. The actors gave a stellar performance to this film. I had to go back and check if it was a Hallmark movie, and it was that good.

Try it out, and you won’t be disappointed. It is a step up from the average hallmark romance.

The bond between Poppy and the kids grows deeper as weeks pass. On the other hand, the bond between her and Ryan also grows.

However, Ryan is a workaholic who has failed in his fatherly responsibilities. He is also dating Abigail, a high-powered executive at work.

Poppy steps back from Ryan to save herself from a broken heart. But you know how hallmark movies go; you can tell the rest from here. Love finds them both.

Harvest Moon

  • Director: Peter DeLuise
  • Star cast: Jesse Hutch and Jessy Schram
  • IMDB Rating: 6.4

What happens when a wealthy lady goes bankrupt? The Harvest Moon is one of the 2015 hallmark movies that seeks to explore this.

It does it well to some degree but leaves much to be desired. It is not a bad movie, but it is not that spectacular.

A well-privileged city girl loses everything and goes bankrupt. The only asset that stays with her is a pumpkin farm in a small town.

She doesn’t take her new status well and tries to sell the farm to fund her expensive lifestyle. That would be the worst idea ever.

He works with the privileged girl to improve the farm’s value. Like in every other Hallmark movie, love develops between them.

What better way to celebrate Christmas than mixing cooking, sculpting, and romance? The story and setting are excellent and exciting.
