Drake was already introduced to the stardom life at his early teen years. He started off as an teen actor in the show Degrassi: Next generation as Wheelchair Jimmy. His act in the show was very commendable, and he displayed a lot of good acting skills throughout his role in the movie from 2001-2008.
In 2006 Drake adventure into music releasing his debut mix-tape “Room for Improvement” featuring Trey Songz and Lupe Fiasco. In 2007, Drake dropped another mix-tape “Comeback Season” immediately after setting up his own record label OVO “October’s Very Own”.
Drake’s record label, produced a single “Replacement Girl” featuring Trey Songz. The sound was a spec on its own. This single set the record as being the first single to appear on BET by an unsigned rapper.
