Christopher Maurice Brown was born on May 5th, 1989, in Tappahannock a small town in Virginia, United States, to Joyce Hawkins who was a director of a daycare centre, and his father Clinton Brown, who was a correction officer at a local prison.

Chris’s parents later got separated, and his mother was remarried to an abusive man. Chris Brown grew up in Tappahannock, Virginia together with his older sister, Lytrell Bundy Brown who worked as a banker.

Growing up in a Catholic home, Chris Brown was very much inclined to music since his childhood. He was a member of a small music group in his local church, where he got to participate in various talent hunt shows.

Chris also developed an interest in dancing at a very young age; he was very much inspired by Michael Jackson. Chris loved listening to soul melody and developed an interest in hip-hop music. On July 9, 2020, Chris Brown announced that the title of his tenth album would be Breezy, which happens to be his nickname. This announcement was made via his Instagram handle with no release date yet as at the time of writing this post.

This was due to a pre-Grammy Awards incident where the couple had an argument that escalated into physical violence.

It was later revealed that Chris Brown was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. However, the couple settled their differences and tried to rekindle their relationship in 2011, but it didn’t work out.

Chris Brown had his daughter Royalty Brown with Nia Guzman in 2015, and On November 20, 2019, Chris Brown welcomed his second child, son Aeko Catori Brown, with Ammika Harris.
