There are many Tom Clancy Video games, including the Rainbow Six franchise, but which of his titles are the best?

Tom Clancy established a distinct history in the field of video games, building a readership that may not have been aware of his literary work, even though he rarely did anything more than promote them.

Ubisoft produced many games with the Tom Clancy title, but fans quickly recall three specific franchises on which he put his name.

Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, and Rainbow Six are all well-known game franchises, with most of them continually publishing new titles.

However, this begs the question of which games are the best. Well, the top Tom Clancy video games are listed below:

1. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

Platforms: Java, Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, N-Gage, PlayStation 2, GameCube, Xbox, Nintendo DS

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is the best Splinter Cell game and one of the best stealth-action games ever made. Only a year after Pandora Tomorrow, Sam Fisher attempts to avert a conflict between the United States, North Korea, and South Korea, encountering numerous twists and a heartbreaking betrayal along the way.

Additionally, the ESRB gave the game an M rating due to the game’s darker narrative and adoption of a system that allows Fisher to kill during an interrogation, but this had minimal impact on the game’s sales.

Furthermore, Chaos Theory was a financial success, with critical acclaim and praise as one of the best games of all time

2. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X, and series

Rainbow six siege is one of the best Tom Clancy video games right now. While Siege garnered mixed reviews and a smaller audience than Ubisoft had planned, time will prove the brilliance of this stressful, intimate shooter, as will the unique communities that have sprung up around it.

Furthermore, the primary mode, Siege, is so well-tuned, and the maps are so well-designed that the game is gorgeous in its savage simplicity. One team defends while the other infiltrates in a five-on-five match.

Additionally, a few gadgets and tools spice up what is essentially a battle of wits and intelligence between two teams. But the most delicate part about Siege is the possibility of an epic five-vs-one finish, with a lone survivor on a struggling side wiping out the whole enemy force on their own, to the sound of thunderous applause.

3. Ghost Recon: Wildland

Platforms: PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Google Stadia.

It’s the year 2019. After C.I.A. Agent Ricky Sandoval was allegedly slain by the cartel’s head, El Sueno, a crew of four government agents known as Ghosts, is entrusted with systematically extracting, undermining, and eradicating the Bolivian narcotics cartel, Santa Blanca.

4. Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow

Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow is also one of the best Tom Clancy video games right now. Pandora Tomorrow is, in many aspects, the same game as the original, except that the narrative has been improved and several gameplay components have been modified.

Sam Fisher’s mission to stop an Indonesian militia from spreading smallpox has a video game storyline better than many movies, whereas the original’s tale got buried in its groundbreaking mechanics.

While players in 2004 might quickly lose themselves in the main game’s excellent narrative and more challenging gameplay, they could also have a lot of fun with their friends in the Spies vs. Mercenaries multiplayer, which would be improved in the sequel.

5. Splinter Cell: Blacklist

Platforms: Microsoft Windows, Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360.

The third Echelon is disbanded after Splinter Cell: Conviction (2010), and its remnants are regrouped into the newly established Fourth Echelon. Furthermore, Sam Fisher is appointed as the organization’s commander.

Now that Fisher and his Fourth Echelon are back in the game, they must defeat the Engineers. They are a dangerous terrorist group that has threatened many terrorist strikes on American soil to force the U.S. military to withdraw from its overseas facilities.

6. The Division

Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows.

The division is one of the best Tom Clancy video games. A virus outbreak in Manhattan on Black Friday spreads, forcing the United States to collapse in five days.

7. Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter

Platforms: PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Windows

The original Advanced Warfighter from Ubisoft was a must-have game, especially on the brand-new Xbox 360 at the time.

Furthermore, Advanced Warfighter is set in 2013 and follows a Ghost team as they infiltrate Mexico City to prevent a spec-ops organization from launching a nuclear “football.”

While previous Ghost Recon games were more strict in terms of being tactical, Advanced Warfighter softened that aspect but did not eliminate it.

Additionally, the game’s blend of traditional F.P.S. action and tactical gameplay helps it stand out among the other military shooters available at the time.

8. H.A.W.X.

Platforms: iOS, Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3.

H.A.W.X. is an arcade flight game set shortly by Tom Clancy. Furthermore, take on your foes with over fifty different planes. Each task takes place in a real-world setting.

9. Endwar

Platforms: PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Microsoft Windows

Endwar is one of the best Tom Clancy video games right now. The future is a world without oil and a planet ripped apart by war. However, to fight the Third World War, the Russians, Americans, and Europeans gathered their forces. It’s finally over.

10. Ruthless.com

Platforms: Windows 11, macOS, Windows 8, Linux, Android, Windows 7.

Ruthless.com is one of the best Tom Clancy video games right now. It is a business simulation game based on Tom Clancy’s Fight the competition relatively or underhandedly, or band together to defeat EvilSoft.

11. SSN

Platforms: Microsoft Windows

China kicked off World War Three by conquering the Spratly Islands and searching for oil. Additionally, you command the Los Angeles-class attack submarine U.S.S. Cheyenne has been assigned to the Spratly Islands to target the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (Navy).

12. The Hunt For The Red October

Platforms: Game Boy, N.E.S., SNES

Based on The Hunt for Red October, a Gameboy and Super N.E.S. game was released. Furthermore, the Super Scope attachment is used in 11 games.

13. Splinter Cell: Conviction

Platforms: Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows, Classic MacOS, Xbox 360.

Conviction is also one of the best Tom Clancy video games right now. Splinter Cell: Conviction is a fantastic game that doesn’t get the respect it deserves, even though it deviates from the usual Splinter Cell aesthetic.

While Conviction has stealth components, it is much more action-oriented than the previous games, which may not be to everyone’s taste.

Additionally, Conviction, Sam Fisher’s first wholly Seventh Generation game, was praised upon its release and continues to hold up more than ten years later.

Also, this was the final Splinter Cell game for Sam Fisher’s original actor, Michael Ironside. He could not return due to a cancer diagnosis, which he thankfully overcame.

14. The Sum Of All Fears

Platforms: Microsoft Windows

Based on the film of the same name about C.I.A. analyst Jack Ryan, this tactical first-person shooter is quite similar in style to Rainbow Six.
