It stars Michael Douglas, Diane Keaton, Sterling Jerins, and Annie Parisse.

4. Palm Springs

Palm Springs is one of the best rom-com movies on Hulu right now. Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti star as nihilistic wedding guests who become trapped in a time loop a la Groundhog Day in one of the finest films 2020.

Stupidly funny and surprisingly heartwarming, this sci-fi nightmare-meets-rom-com takes a unique approach to a tried-and-true premise with two protagonists you’ll fall for immediately.

(Warning: If you’re having an existential crisis, you might want to skip this one.) Palm Springs isn’t your typical meet-cute destination. Starring Andy Samberg, Cristin Milioti, J.K Simmons, and Peter Gallagher.

5. The Wedding Planner

Romantic comedies like The Wedding Planner are no longer made. Mary, a workaholic wedding planner, falls for her client, Steve.

He is an emotionally unfaithful pediatrician with a huge phobia of commitment in this schmaltzy early-aughts romance.

Sure, it garnered Lopez a Razzie nomination for worst actress, and it’s McConaughey’s vote for worst rom-com he’s ever done as of early 2019. It is, nonetheless, a classic.

You’re thinking of the dumpster, right? Massimo, the M&Ms! Swoon. Starring Jennifer Lopez, Matthew McConaughey, Justin Chambers,

6. Portrait of a Lady on Fire

If you’re seeking a lesbian love story, look no further than Portrait of a Lady on Fire, a critically praised 2019 French film. It is one of the best rom-coms on Hulu right now.

Additionally, this film is set in the 18th century and stars Noemie Merlant as Marianne, a young painter who falls in love with Heloise, played by Adele Haenel.

7. 50 First Dates

It follows the story of Henry Roth, who lives in a Hawaiian paradise with an inexhaustible supply of free-spirited ladies—until he meets Lucy Whitmore, that is.

In addition, Henry is perplexed when Lucy fails to recognize him the next day when he approaches her.

Furthermore, this is the point at which Henry realizes Lucy suffers from short-term memory loss and cannot recall each day.

Henry doesn’t let this get in the way of his plans to make her fall in love with him all over again every day. Starring Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Rob Schneider, Sean Astin.

8. Heathers

If calling Heathers a romantic comedy wasn’t already a stretch. It would be considerably higher on this list of best rom-coms on Hulu.

Veronica is a member of her high school’s most popular clique, although she despises the other girls’ nasty behavior.

When Veronica and her new boyfriend, J.D., confront clique leader Heather Chandler and poison her by accident, they make it look like a suicide.

10. What Men Wants

Ali Davis, a sports agent passed over for an overdue promotion, struggles to make it in an industry where most of her coworkers are men.

At the end of that dreadful day, she decides to consult a psychic. In addition, she eats a mysterious concoction there that, unbeknownst to her, gives her the capacity to hear every single man’s thoughts.

Yes, you read that properly—she obtained the ability to hear every thought of every man she encountered at work and in her daily life.

However, she uses this technology as a source of information to advance in her job and sign the next NBA superstar ahead of her male counterparts. Starring Taraji P Henson, Aldis Hodge, Tracy Morgan, and Max Greenfield.

12. Bound

Violet (Jennifer Tilly), a reimagining of the femme fatale, falls for Corky (Gina Gershon), an ex-con doing handyman work in her apartment complex.

Additionally, Violet is a “mob doll,” the longstanding girlfriend of a mafioso (Joe Pantoliano).

And when his criminal companions swarm their apartment during a particularly tumultuous and bloody night of money laundering.

Violet and Corky formulate a scheme to snag the money and start a new life.

However, Bound holds up as a breathless thriller, an emotional piece of sensual romance, and a breathless thriller 25 years later. It stars Jennifer Tilly, Gina Gershon, Joe Pantoliano, and Christopher Meloni.

13. The Age of Adeline

The Age of Adeline is one of the best rom-coms on Hulu. It is a captivating fantasy romance with a touch of intrigue.

You might be surprised that the plot isn’t based on a novel. It has that vibe to it, yet it’s an original story written by Goodloe and Paskowitz.

However, it stars Blake Lively as Adaline Bowman, who stops aging after a car accident. She spends the following eight decades in the body of a 29-year-old woman.

Nevertheless, to escape suspicion, she sticks to herself, but then she meets Ellis Jones, played by Michiel Huisman, who makes her feel all over again.

As you try to figure out what’s happening, Lively, Huisman, and Harrison Ford are enthralling to watch and starring Blake Lively, Michiel Huisman, Harrison Ford, Ellen Burstyn, Kathy Baker, and Amanda Crew.

14. Love, Simons

Simon, who is seventeen years old, is having trouble with love after discovering that he is falling in love with an anonymous classmate online.

What are the most serious issues? He not only has no idea who his classmate is, but he has also kept his sexuality hidden from his friends and family.

After watching Simon overcome both challenges, you’ll laugh, weep, and witness the end of this charming movie. Starring Nick Robinson, Katherine Langford, Keiyan Longsdale, Alexandra Shipp.

15. Babyteeth

Babyteeth is undoubtedly the most dramatic title on this of the best rom-com on Hulu. But it’s also one of the most thought-provoking.

Furthermore, Her parents disapprove when a chronically ill adolescent falls for a small-time drug dealer.

However, her blooming romance, on the other hand, gives her a new zest for life. Starring Toby Wallace, Eliza Scanlen, Ben Mendelsohn, Essie Davis.

16. Princess Cyd

Miranda strives to get more in touch with her sense of intimacy as Cyd explores gender.

Sexuality, falling for a female for the first time, presents two perspectives on what it means to get to know yourself better by getting to know someone else.

Additionally, the film’s approach to existential concerns is so delicate that it might come across as stoic at times, but this is a strength as well as a flaw, as it leaves room for more nuanced feelings and evolutions—and plenty of chance to relish Cyd’s growing midsummer romance.

It stars Matthew Quattrocki, Jessie Pinnick, Rebecca Spence, Malic White, James Vincent Meredith, and Tyler Ross.

17. Another Time

Another Time is one of the best romantic comedies on Hulu right now. In it, Eric meets Julia, played by Chrishell Stause, the woman of his dreams, only to discover that she already has a fiance.

Furthermore, Eric has the brilliant notion of going back in time and meeting Julia before she meets her fiance.

While traveling through time has some unintended consequences, it also allows Eric to see things from a new perspective and seek love differently once he recognizes he is chasing the wrong thing.

However, this is a wonderful time travel adventure that will have you rooting for the hero all the way to the conclusion. It stars Scott Kennard and Thomas Hennessy.

18. Christmas Crush

This film is entertaining but also serves as a cautionary tale about being careful what you wish for. Cindy Sampson’s character, Addie, wishes for her neighbor to fall in love with her.

Unfortunately, she fails to be specific enough, and instead of inspiring Sam (Robin Dunne) to fall in love with her, the wish falls on Pete (Chris Violette).

Meanwhile, I love Christmas-themed romance flicks, and this one is no exception. Addie is a likable protagonist who grows in confidence as the film progresses.

However, you’ll be hooked as you wonder how she escapes this romantic predicament. Starring Eve Crawford, Konstantina Mantelos, Paul Constable, Cindy Sampson, Robin Dunne, Chris Violette, Erica Deutschman, Eve Crawford, and Konstantina Mantelos.

19. Date Night

Date Night is one of the best rom-coms on Hulu right Now. This 2010 picture takes a different approach, using a routine date night to set the stage for a wacky journey for married couple Claire (Tina Fey) and Phil (Steve Carell).

Furthermore, they plan a date night to rekindle their romance, but when they steal another couple’s reservation, they end up with a case of mistaken identity.

The couple whose reservation they stole is discovered to be associated with a mob boss, and his thugs apprehend them.

However, the night they had planned is utterly derailed when they find themselves in the middle of an adventure of a lifetime, completely out of their depth but relying on each other to get through it. It’s a crime, romance, and comedy film rolled into one, starring two of the most charismatic actors in the industry.

Starring Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Mark Wahlberg, Taraji P. Henson, Jimmi Simpson, Kristen Wiig, Mark Ruffalo, James Franco, Mila Kunis,

20. Christmas Perfection

This 2018 film, starring Caitlin Thompson as Darcy, is another intriguing Christmas-themed romp in which she creates her own Christmas world.

Darcy is usually disappointed because he is obsessed with making the perfect Christmas

That is until she joins her Christmas hamlet, where Christmas is celebrated daily. Furthermore, when her friend Brandon (James Henri-Thomas) joins her in the fantasy realm, they realize they have affection for each other.

Additionally, Darcy quickly discovers that perfection isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. This film is a unique spin on the Christmas romance. It’s interesting and amusing and encourages you to appreciate the flaws in things.

Starring Robbie Silverman, Caitlin Thompson, James Henri-Thomas

21. Happiest Season

Happiest Season is one of the best rom-coms on Hulu. Kristen Stewart plays Abby, a young lady who will meet her girlfriend, Harper’s family, for the first time.

And devises a grand scheme to propose to her at their annual Christmas dinner.

Besides, the problem is that Harper’s family is unaware that she is homosexual. When Abby arrives, she is forced back into the closet and discovers a side of Harper she never knew existed.

Furthermore, Stewart is fantastic as Abby, and you never stop pulling for her, but the film’s main flaw is that she’s surrounded by a cast of characters who are nearly wholly harsh and unlikable.

Starring Kristen Stewart, Mackenzie Davis, Aubrey Plaza, Allison Brie, Mary Holland, Mary Steenburgen, Victor Garber, Dan Levy, Jake McDorman, and Mary Holland.

22. Spontaneous

It all starts innocently enough with Dylan, played by Charlie Plummer, admitting his affection for Mara, played by Katherine Langford.

Furthermore, the horror elements kick in when their classmates start spontaneously exploding. Among the blood, love blossoms between Dylan and Mara, who find solace in one other amid the chaos.

Additionally, the teens begin living for today and attempting to make each day count because they never know when they will explode.

Writer-director Brian Duffield wields the constant threat with precision, fusing genres to create a wholly heartfelt story about finding what makes life worth living and fighting for it, even in the direst of circumstances.

Starring Katherine Langford, Charlie Plummer, Yvonne Orji, Hayley Law, Piper Perabo, Rob Huebel, and Chris Shields.

23. Blast From The Past

This 1999 romantic comedy, starring Brendan Fraser and Alicia Silverstone as Adam and Eve, is a fun, fish-out-of-water comedy.

It contains parts of Fraser’s most famous film, Encino Man. In it, he plays a man who is once more out of time and out of place in the world.

Following a bomb scare in the 1960s, he has been in a bomb shelter with his parents, played by Christopher Walken and Sissy Spacek, for 35 years.

However, Fraser is in his element as the wide-eyed, innocent Adam. His charisma jumps off the screen, and his exchanges with Eve are hilarious.

Furthermore, it’s nice to see Silverstone thrive in anything besides Clueless. Starring Brendan Fraser, Alicia Silverstone, Christopher Walken, Sissy Spacek, and Dave Foley.
