Apple has finally launched it’s long-awaited subscription-based video streaming service, Apple TV+, and immediately offered it’s viewers a sizeable amount of fantastic content.
If your fear is how expensive it’ll be considering Apple’s reputation for providing their products and services at ridiculously high prices, then you might be shocked at how affordable this video streaming service is.
To access the Apple TV+ video streaming service, you’ll need to register or sign up for as little as $4.99 monthly.
However, if you have just purchased a new iPad, iPhone, Mac, Apple TV, or iPod touch since the beginning of September 2019, and you are successfully signed in into the Apple ID of any of these devices on the device.
You should see the subscribe button showing that you have automatically received an entire year of free trial service.
The content of Apple TV+ has its hone in the Apple TV app, which is available across Apple TV, macOS, iPadOS, and iOS devices, which is expected to be installed automatically, unless you’re using an older version of these devices or you deleted it from your device.
You will then find shows from the new program in the specific row dedicated to Apple TV+ in the home screen of the app, as well as all around the interface in different places.
Apple is creating dozens of original movies and TV shows with high-profile producers, directors, and actors. The Apple TV+ has officially launched on November 1, 2019.
In the guide share after here, we have rounded up all of the juicy details on Apple’s new Apple TV+ video streaming service.
What exactly is Apple TV+?
With Apple TV still new in the scene, and the very recent launch of Apple TV+, things can be somewhat confusing for non-apple user who wants to be in the know.
Apple TV is a product, while Apple TV+ is the name of Apple’s latest television service, which is now home to all the original movies and TV shows that are funded by Apple.
Apple currently aims to compete with already existing video streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Amazon Prime Video, Showtime, and the many others that have flooded the market, with its original shows and movies content and has brought on prominent names ranging from Oprah and Steven Spielberg to J.J. Abrams.
Apple is working to see that Apple TV+ only offers the “highest quality” of original storytelling possible.
Are there ads?
Not at all. Apple has said that it’s video streaming service, Apple TV+ will be wholly ad-free and made available to viewers on-demand.
What’s the price?
Apple had earlier announced during its September media event that the streaming service would cost viewers $4.99 a month, with a seven days free trial.
They have also made an annual $49.99 subscription available, and that helps you to save a bit of cash over the $4.99 monthly option.
All subscriptions support Family Sharing, which means that up to six members of your family can view any content they want using a single subscription.
Apple is also in the spirit of giving as they offer a free one-year subscription to this service with the purchase of a new iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, Mac, or iPod touch. Device purchases after September 10, 2019, qualify for the offer.

Channels are separate from Apple TV+, as you can think of it as Apple’s channel.
Together with Apple TV+ and Channels, the Apple TV app automatically makes suggestions and recommendations for movies and shows from iTunes and over 150 streaming apps and cable services such as Charter Spectrum, PlayStation Vue, Canal+, DIRECTV NOW.
However, content that is not for Apple and is not included in a channel will have to be watched via a third-party application just like the original TV application.
