1. Jujutsu Kaisen

We begin our recommendations for anime like Bleach with Jujutsu Kaisen.

The events of Jujutsu Kaisen occur in a universe where humans’ negative emotions can manifest as contagious diseases.

Because we can only fight plagues with a more potent plague, institutions like schools and hospitals that house many people experiencing these feelings are equipped with a relic, a receptacle of a plague.

Only a select few, such as exorcists, can see these. The exorcist must eradicate the plagues and protect the populace from them, but this is not without risk due to the varying potency of different plagues.

2. Blue Exorcist

Two dimensions, mirror images of each other, make up the Blue Exorcist universe, an anime like Bleach.

The first is the Earth, Assiah, where people exist. The other is Hades, where demons dwell.

Usually, it takes a lot of work for the two to meet or even communicate. Yet, devils can enter our realm and take possession of anything and everything that is here.

Satan may be the god of the demons, but he lacks one thing: a human vessel strong enough to hold him.

For this reason, he had sexual relations with a human female and conceived Okumura Rin and Okumura Yukio, his sons; however, only Rin inherited Satan’s powers, Yukio being too weak.

Are his boys on track with his objectives, or should they become something else?

However, everything changes when he returns home and discovers that a demon has slaughtered his family.

Only one of her younger sisters, Nezuko, escaped, but she became a demon.

After attacking Tanjir, she displays human-like feelings and thoughts, prompting the intervention of a demon slayer named Giy Tomioka.

Giy sheaths his blade after realizing the closeness between the Kamado siblings while attempting to eliminate Nezuko.
