Best Anime Original TV SeriesPin

Anime is a worldwide phenomenon, attracting viewers from all corners of the globe. Its roots are in Japanese culture, but its themes and settings are often universal.

If you’re new to anime or want to try something different from your usual series, here are some of the best anime original TV series that will keep you entertained for hours on end!

1. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009)

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime is an adaptation of the original manga created by Hiromu Arakawa.

It is a series that tells the story of two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, searching for the Philosopher’s Stone.

The main characters are young boys who want to find the mythical stone to restore their bodies after an alchemical experiment goes wrong.

The show has many differences compared to its source material, but they are all improvements over the original version.

Anime often adapts manga and other works into animated form. This is not always done well, but Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood manages to succeed where others fail. It’s one of the best adaptations of all time.

2. Your Lie in April (2014)

Your Lie in April is an emotional rollercoaster that follows Kousei Arima as he attempts to overcome his past musical trauma.

The story begins with Kousei, a once-legendary pianist who experienced a breakdown after his mother’s death.

Two years later, Kousei still has trouble performing in public and has trouble returning to the stage.

Then, one day, he meets Kaori Miyazono, who encourages him to pursue music again by playing the violin at her local high school—but she soon becomes his greatest obstacle instead of his helpmate when she starts challenging him with piano contests against him!

While this second-best anime original TV series on my list is centered around music like most others on this list (and if you like classical piano music, there’s plenty here), what makes it unique is how much its characters develop over time through their struggles together—not just with each other but also themselves individually as well.

It follows them from childhood into adulthood while exploring their relationships during that period through flashbacks which help us understand their journey better throughout each episode’s narrative arc
