But instead of taking years off his life, as a good Shinigami would, she drains him dry by taking away his desire to do fun things.
She does this by taking away the things that made Ryosuke so attractive, like his sexuality and lust.
The degenerate is no longer low or bad now that he has been clean and good.
So, the only way for him to get back to being sexually active is to help the goddess of death on her quest.

His first thought was to save his younger sister, but he got caught in the eruption and found a strange girl at the source who turned out to be a “Spirit.”
The spirit then starts fighting with members of the anti-spirit team because they want her dead for some unknown reason.
Similar to an anime like DxD, a third person named “Ratatoskr” tries to save the Spirits. Kotori, Shidou’s little sister, is in charge of Ratatoskr.

Kodaka feels alone at his new high school until one morning when he walks into Yozora Mikazuki’s empty classroom and hears her talking.
She had also been made fun of by her classmates, who called her and her boyfriend “delinquents” or “weirdos” because they were different from the rest of the class.
Kodaka and Yozora didn’t have many friends in high school, so they started the Neighbor’s Club.
They made a club for people who don’t have many friends so they could meet more people.

His job is to fight heretical gods who try to invade his territory.
This job is not only likely to kill him on the Highway to Heaven, but it also has a lot of other problems.
For example, he needs to learn how to deal with all the female fans who are too eager to worship him because of his new status.
After all, they’re only there to help him do his duties as a demi-god, right?
So why does their leader, the devilishly manipulative sword mistress Erica Blandelli, seem interested in getting them to do some strange things?
As the ultimate smash, bash, and thrash of Titans rock heaven and earth, you can expect eternal love and a lot of gods putting on holy faces as they fight. This is one of the best anime like DxD.
8. Mayo Chiki! (2011)
Kinjirou Sakamachi’s body is strong because his mother and sister both like professional wrestling.

Similar to most anime like DxD, this story is about a typical high school student who can’t get into any school because of bad grades.
But his parents sign him up for Youkai Academy by accident as a last-ditch effort to get him some education.
Unfortunately, they don’t know that Tsukune has entered a world full of danger, horror, and hopelessness.

10. Freezing (2011)
In this anime like DxD, an alien race, the Novas, is attacking humanity.

She finds that Kazuya’s touch doesn’t scare her away, so she decides to make him her Limiter instead.
The question is whether or not their partnership can survive the plans of older students and the battle with Novas that is coming up.
In Freezing, Satellizer El Bridget is just one of many interesting female characters. Also, this anime sure has a great story with many twists and turns.
11. Demon King Daimao (2010)
Demon King Daimao is one of the best anime like DxD, and like high school DxD, Akuto Sai is making good changes in the world, which is his dream.
He moves to Constant Magic Academy, a magic school where he meets Junko Hattori, a member of a good ninja clan.
On the way to school, they promise to work together to improve the world. But when he gets to the academy, it’s evident that something has gone wrong.
It has been said that he will become the Demon King. It seemed like everything he did make it more likely that he would become a demon king.
He couldn’t let fate decide what would happen to him, but it seemed like everything he did and said proved this point somehow.
People at school started to worry about him because of what they thought would happen to him.
Even Junko’s trust was shaken when she realized that her passion might have been for the wrong thing the whole time.
When Junko is surrounded by beautiful girls, each of whom has her plans for him, it makes it harder for him to trust them.
With his newfound abilities, Akuto must deal with his long list of bad luck and fight to show that his fate is not written in stone.
Demon King Daimao is an anime with action, a good story, beautiful girls, and many other things that could make it a permanent part of any anime fan’s collection.
12. Trinity Seven (2014)

As a group, they make up Trinity Seven, which is the best group at this private school.
Arata will do anything to save his best friend, Hijiri, and with the help of his new friends, he will stop the destruction of his beloved hometown and bring his best friend back.
Similar to anime like DxD, this is another anime show with incredible fight scenes and pretty girls who hang out with the main character.
13. Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls (2009)
Japan is a big country with a lot of natural beauty and happy people, but it is also in danger.

Watch this series if you are searching for the best anime like DxD.
14. Seikon no Qwaser (2010)

He sets up a time for them to meet and see if there are any strange things in the sky. He thinks it might have something to do with what he saw before.
Tomoki’s life changes the day a strange girl falls from the sky and calls him “master.”
Sora no Otoshimono shows what the New World Discovery Club does daily as they discover more about the Angeloids who have come to earth. This is one anime like DxD you need to see.

Many of these students fight invaders from another world while wearing skimpy pilot clothes. Kizuna is not very good at his skills, but his sister has a different plan.
Being romantic with Kizuna seems to help the girls get their energy back or “power up.”
We see a schoolboy who is caught up in the plans of a group of girls who want to be powerful.
If you are looking for a series similar to anime like DxD, watch Hybrid x Magias.
17. The Testament of Sister New Devil (2015)

But when Mio, the only daughter of the former demon lord, and Maria, the trusted succubus servant of Mio, reveal that they are demons, Basara is forced to say that he is a member of the hero clan. The hero clan is the demon’s sworn enemy.
But now that he cares for his new sisters, Basara decides to use his powers to protect them. He makes a master-servant deal with Mio to keep an eye on her.
Basara has to defend against attacks from the demon clan and keep his new family safe simultaneously. But he also keeps a dark secret that keeps him up at night.
18. Is this a Zombie? (2011)
Ayumu Aikawa was a regular 16-year-old high school student whose life was cruelly cut short when he died while checking out a strange house.
Soon after he dies, he wakes up next to a girl named Eucliwood, who is in armor.
He discovers she’s a necromancer who brought him back to life as a zombie servant. And Ayumu finds out that this might not be so bad!
Ayumu is now immortal, so he goes out to find the person who killed him.
One day, Ayumu meets a loud young girl with a chainsaw who seems determined to fight off bears no matter what.
When she kills one of them, she tries to erase all memories that could lead back to herself.
But instead, she ends up taking him in. Haruna is told to become an apprentice hunter by Ayumu, who also doesn’t remember anything about this encounter or why it happened. Haruna doesn’t even know what happened.
This is so that they can hunt strange creatures called Megalo, which roam the human world and scare people as a team.
Watch this anime like DxD to see what a human who has just become a zombie does daily as he starts his new, crazy life where the supernatural is the norm.
19. Omamori Himari (2010)
Omamori Himari, also called OmaHima or “protective charm Himari,” is the story of Yuuto Amakawa, a 16-year-old orphan who lives a calm but dull life.
Seven years before the story starts, his parents die in a car accident, leaving him alone.
Since then, his tsundere friend Rinko Kuzaki and her family have taken care of him. Rinko has a crush on him.
The only thing he has left of his family is a mysterious amulet that was a gift from his grandmother and made him forget some of his childhood memories.
Well, he meets Himari Koihara on his 16th birthday. Himari Koihara is a bakeneko, a Japanese demon cat that saves him from a supernatural being and moves in with him to protect him from other enemies.
Yuuto comes from a family of people who kill demons, and Himari has promised to protect him.
This was one of the first anime I saw, and it had funny parts, supernatural things, and fights. Fans of anime like DxD will see the similarities and enjoy this anime.
20. Jitsu wa Watashi wa (2013)
Jitsu wa Watashi wa, or My Monster Secret, is strange because I wouldn’t say I liked it the first time I saw it.
But when I saw it again, I liked it more; the boy Asahi Kuromine can’t keep a secret, and he’s called “leaky basket” because of this.
Before the story starts, he tells Nagisa Aizawa how he feels about her, but she rejects him.
He has a crush on Youko Shiragami, another girl. But everything goes down the drain when he finds out she is a vampire.
Because of this, he has to keep the secret and protect her so that her father doesn’t pull her out of school.
When he discovers that more mythical creatures go to school and he has to keep those secrets, things go from bad to worse.
This is one anime like DxD that is underrated, but I guarantee you’ll like watching it.
It has a lot of funny parts, strange situations, creatures from mythology, and more.
It doesn’t have as much mature content as High School DxD, but it has more funny moments to make up for it.
21. Zero no Tsukaima (2004)
One of my all-time favorite anime like DxD is Familiar Zero no Tsukaima. It’s also one of the few good “isekai” anime and a good “entry” anime.
Louise Francoise LeBlanc de la Valliere, a selfish and tsundere mage, sent Saito Hiraga, an ordinary Japanese boy, to the made-up continent of Halkeginia by accident. Because Louise can’t do magic, people call her “Louise the Zero.”
And calling up an average person makes her feel even worse about herself than before. He starts to feel like a slave to Louise.
In the meantime, Saito starts to get used to his new life. He meets new people in this new world and, without realizing it, creates his group love situation.
Saito and Issei are both funny goofballs who will fight for the people they care about.
This anime has many magic characters, supernatural powers, and great fights. The four seasons of Zero no Tsukaima are all outstanding, so there’s a lot to like about it.
22. Negima! Magister Negi Magi (2006)
You’ve heard the saying, “Old but gold.” 10-year-old Negi Springfield is a mage who learned magic for seven years.
He goes to Japan to teach English at Mahora College so he can become a successful magician.
Even so, when he gets to school, he meets one of his students, Asuna Kagurazaka.
The fact that he is a magician is a secret, although Asuna finds out about this later.
After making a deal that requires them to kiss, they work together to fight some magical enemies and more magicians.
This anime will show you that being a good teacher takes work.
This one has magic, schools, things that don’t exist in the real world, mature content, and humor. In short, it has everything we love about anime like DxD.
Both shows are about almost the same things, but Negima is more light than DxD. Negima is an anime that everyone should watch.
It mixes GTO, Rosario + Vampire, and Love Hina, so go ahead and watch it if you haven’t already.
23. Tsugumomo (2007)
In Japanese folklore, tsukumogami are tools owned by a god or spirit, giving them a soul. There are two kinds of tsukumogami: amasogi and tsugumomo.
The first talks about harmony, and the second talks about destruction. Our main character, Kazuya Kagami, has a tsugumomo he doesn’t know about: it’s his mother’s obi.
After an amasogi almost kills him, his obi becomes a girl named Kirihi. She watches out for him and moves in with him to keep him safe from more amasogi attacks.
She also tells Kazuya about the world of tsukumogami and the gods who live near us. Kirihi is a great female protagonist, and Kazuya is a typical group-love protagonist.
This anime has everything: the main character’s childhood friends who love him, his school, battles, supernatural things, etc.
Similar to anime like DxD, Tsugumomo has something that will keep you watching it all day. What does that mean? To find out, you will have to watch it.
24. Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma (2015)
One of the best things that could happen to anime was for food competitions to be mixed with comedy. Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma is a great anime because it is a work of art.
Yukihira Soma, a teenager, wants to work as a chef in his father’s restaurant and, not surprisingly, become a better chef than his father, who is the main plot of the story.
To do this, he sends Soma to the best cooking school in the world, the Totsuki Culinary Academy.
Soma will have to compete against other students in “food wars” if she wants to be the best chef in the world.
Soma also helps people make friends, enemies, romantic interests, and much more.
Even though there aren’t any “normal” fights or supernatural elements, there is a comedy, a unique school setting, and Soma’s goofy attitude without being a pervert will make you think of Issei.
So you will have a lot of fun with this anime like DxD. My only tip is that you shouldn’t watch this anime before dinner.
25. Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero (2012)
This is another anime that needs to get more attention. The story takes place in a world where magic called Alayzard sends young men and women to another world.
Those who stay alive and come back are given magic and other powers.
Most of the time, those who come back are protected by an international company called Babel. They teach them how to use their power for good as well.
The story of Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero starts when Akatsuki Osawa, one of these returnees, comes back to his world with a girl named Miu.
The Demon Lord’s daughter is that girl, and she killed the Demon Lord in battle.
In Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero, Akatsuki, the “Rogue Hero” named in the title, is the hero.
He is smart, strong, and a typical “Chad” main character. He is also one of the best group love anime main characters.
Miu is much like Rias Gremory, especially since they are both demons. Even though there are some grown-up parts, they are not as cheeky as anime like DxD.
No matter what, you’ll have fun with this one because of the fights, magic, and waifus.
26. Val x Love (2019)
What if, in this case, instead of the protagonist being acquainted with the demons, he helps Asgard female warriors to defend the earth from demons?
This is how Val x Love is. Odin sends nine Valkyries to earth to protect it from demons.
They do this with the help of the awkward college student Takuma Akutsu, the weird main character of this anime.
And what needs to be done? So, he has to fall in love with one of the Valkyries.
He moves into an empty house with the nine Valkyries and starts his group romance while trying to live a normal life when they are not fighting demons.
You may not like Takuma at the beginning. But you’ll like him more once you’ve seen a few episodes; Every Valkyrie is different.
One could be serious, another could be shy and cute, and the last could be funny.
In short, if you don’t like one Valkyrie, you will probably like another. This one isn’t as well known as it should be.
Similar to other anime like DxD, It has magic, fantasy, love, and much more mature content. So go and give Val x Love a try.
27. Strike the Blood (2013)
And if you like shonen stories a lot, this anime can be fun.
It has strange names for attacks, a lot of waifus, and the enemy destroys half of the city, but the main character saves everyone.
Strike the Blood is about Akatsuki Kojou, who is, in fact, the most powerful Vampire in the world.
Even though he knows he is the Fourth Progenitor, he tries to live a normal life. Some groups already know who he is, though.
One of them is the Lion King organization, which sends a sword shaman named Yukina Himeragi to watch him while he and his family try to live a “normal” life on Itogami Island, also known as “the demon district.”
This anime has it all, with a lot of fights, magic, and comedy. If your favorite type of anime is shonen, you will like to Strike the Blood because it has everything typical of shonen.
In this one, the main character is dumb but brave, and more than ten girls are in love with him. I’d call that a paradise.
28. Otome Youkai Zakuro (2006)
Maiden Spirit Zakuro” in English, is about a different Japan where people and spirits lived together during Westernization.
People and spirits choose to work together at the Ministry of Spirits to keep the peace.
They pick Ganryu Hanakiri, Riken Yoshinokazura, and Kei Agemaki, the main character of this story, all of whom are human.
Also, three spirits are picked: Bonbori, Hozuki, and Zakuro, the main character of this story, and the spirit maiden whose name is in the name.
When Zakuro tells everyone that she can’t stand people who believe in Jesuit practices and Kei says that he has an abnormal fear of spirits, things start to go wrong.
This is a great anime with a limited number of grown-up scenes. It’s more of a fantasy romance anime than anything else. I also really like how cute the animation is in this one.
It’s a great anime like DxD to watch with your girlfriend or crush because of the animation and other parts.
29. The Misfit of Demon King Academy (2020)
In this anime, the main character is the demon lord, who has returned to life.
After more than 2,000 years of war and killing, the demon king, Anos Voldigoad, deals with the hero, Kanon, to bring peace to the world by sacrificing himself.
After another 2000 years, a hybrid version of Anos is reborn, and in this new society, royal demons rule over hybrid demons. Now, Anos wants to get back on the throne.
But first, he has to graduate from the Demon King Academy, where royal demon students think he doesn’t belong and treat him badly and disrespectfully.
Because Anos is so broken and powerful, this anime broke the internet.
Also, you can watch The Misfit of Demon King Academy in one day because every episode will make you want to watch the next one until you’ve seen them all.
And get ready, because next year there will be a second season. This is a great anime like DxD because it has magic, demons, and group love.
30. 11eyes: Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shojo (2008)
This anime is based on a Japanese adult visual novel of the same name.
In English, it is called 11eyes: Sin, Damnation, and the Atonement Girl.
Kakeru Satsuki is the center of the story. Since he lost his sister, Satsuki hasn’t known what to do with his life. But his old friend Yuka Minase helped him get back to a normal life.
But after one day at school, when the moon turns black, and the sky turns red, everyone around Yuta and Kakeru disappears, and monsters start to show up in the city, everything changes.
The pair find four students trapped in the same dimension: Misuzu Kusakabe, Kukuri Tachibana, Takahisa Tajima, and Yukiko Hirohara.
Then, the six of them get together to get through the “Red Night” and figure out what’s happening.
11eyes has a plot twist that is either one of the best or worst in anime like DxD. But don’t worry; I won’t tell you what happens.
This aime is a weird ride with horror, drama, romance, magical fights, and a lot of comedy if you watch the OVA.
31. Urusei Yatsura (1978)
This is one anime like DxD that is fun to watch. Urusei Yatsura is a collection of stories that take place after the Oni, people from another planet, come to earth.
They are much more advanced than humans, so they decide to put the fate of the earth in the hands of a high school student named Ataru Moroboshi, who has always been unlucky, a bad flirt, and lazy.
He has ten days to catch and touch Lamu, the daughter of the Oni King.
Soon after the misunderstanding works (Lamu takes Ataru’s words as his own when he talks to his girlfriend Shinobu), the earth is saved, and Lamu decides to stay on earth with his new girlfriend, Ataru.
32. Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (2010)
Panty and her younger sister Stocking, both fallen angels, are on a mission to get rid of the “ghosts,” which are the souls of dead people who haven’t been able to find peace and are causing trouble in Daten City.
