Following the successful run of the series Wu Assassins, this film comes up as one of the martial arts movies on Netflix.

It is unclear why Netflix chose to end the series with a single installment.

In this film, our favorite Wu Assassin, Kai, travels to Bangkok with his friends Lu Xin and Tommy to find the killer of Tommy’s sister, Jenny.

The ancient talisman found on the body of Jenny led them to Thailand.

This would have been a great storyline if Netflix had just invested a bit more in the plot.

In Thailand, biotech billionaire William Pan informs them that his twin sister, Ku An Qi’s underworld boss, was behind Jenny’s death.

He advises the Wu Assassin to kill her before she amasses too much Qi to take over the world. The film managed to squeeze in a nice twist.
