Prince Ned Munir Nwoko is a royal born in the Palace of Idumuje-Ugboko, Aniocha North Local government area of Delta state Nigeria.

Born on the 21st of December 1960, NNed Nwoko has been in the Nigerian political space since 1999 when he represented Aniocha North-South and Oshimili North-South of Delta state in the Nigerian House of Reps.

NNed Nwoko is well-read as he obtained his first degree in Law and History from the University of Keele in Staffordshire, UK, and went further to King’s College London where he obtained his master’s degree in Law.

The Commonwealth University College in Belize also awarded Ned with an honorary doctorate degree.

Ned Nwoko had his elementary and secondary school education in Aniocha, Delta state where he obtained his first school leaving certificate and his West African Senior School certificate.

Upon obtaining his master’s degree in Law, Ned proceeded to start up one of UK’s leading law firms where he is believed to have practiced as a solicitor of the England and Wales Supreme Court.

He returned to Nigeria and became a member of the House of Representatives under the presidency of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo from 1999 to 2003.

Ned Nwoko’s Home

Ned Nwoko loves his home town of Idumuje-Ugboko, and built a mansion there on a large expanse of land.

The villa which has been eye-catching and second to none in Idumuje since it was built is nicknamed “Castle in the air” and is a combo of western and Arabian designs plus a nice dash of royal Idumuje traditional touch. People believe this home is a tourist attraction.

Rumour has it that Ned’s home houses a good number of exotic creatures in its mini zoo. Some of the animals in the zoo are crocodiles, ostriches, porcupines, Sea eagles, Monkeys, Rabbits, a horse, and others.

He also has large fish ponds with catfish and other fish species in them. Ned seems to have some love for farming as he is rumored to have large poultry on one area of the land with thousands of birds, and a palm tree plantation on another part of the property.

Just behind the castle is a lovely large size swimming pool and a lawn tennis court where Ned and his family have fun whenever they want. It is rumored that the lawn tennis court is worth 10 billion Naira.

Ned’s castle stands as the highest point in Delta state at 1000 feet above sea level. Ned Nwoko became more popular recently after he took his 6th wife, Reginal Daniels, who is one of Nollywood’s youngest actress.

Ned’s first son was named Tarik, and his mother is of Moroccan Origin. Tarik reportedly died in his sleep on Monday, the 8th of December 2014. At the time, Terik was 22 years of age and a law student at the University of North Staffordshire, UK.

In April 2019, Ned Nwoko made headlines as he was criticized by some and praised by others for getting married to the then 19 years old Regina Daniels, in a secret wedding attended by only close family and friends.
